morning run in a park. chilling at the house. shopping for sages spikes. DYING LIGHT.
Woodbridge is by far the most crowded race ive ever been to. we warmed up and everything seemed so surreal, we were surrounded by some of the best teams in the country. They annouced our TEAM. I had been told to get out fast. I was top 30or 40 but soon was getting passed by hordes of californians. I knew the race was going to be fast, especially the first mile. After the first mile I was feeling sick but I also felt the "third lung" coach talked about so I just held on. The whole race seems like a blur but I remeber seeing Weston (my cousin from Mtn Vista Colo.) pass me. Towards the end of the race I was getting passed by a lot of people so I dropped the pace to as fast as I could and that bumped me up 15ish spots before the end.
barefoot cooldown. we took pics and everyone got a medal. exept me.
greatful for: my opportunity to come on this trip. it was so fun to hang out with my little sisters haha
